Timber & Forestry

Prove where every log came from, down to the tree.

Why Haloglide

Built for timber & forestry.

Most forestry operations can prove their timber is legal. The proof is just in the wrong place: harvest dockets in a filing cabinet, plot maps on somebody's laptop, contractor declarations in email. A buyer or a regulator asks for it and the answer takes weeks, if it arrives at all.

Haloglide holds the plot, the tree, the log, the consignment and the evidence in one place, each with its own scannable identity and a permanent record of what happened to it. When market access, a carbon claim or a labour question depends on evidence, you send a link, not a folder.

Industry challenges

What gets in the way today.

Market access on hold without geolocation

Timber and rubberwood entering the EU now need the coordinates of the land it was harvested from, with the deforestation free position evidenced. Coordinates held on paper, or nowhere at all, stop a shipment before it leaves.

Carbon claims you cannot evidence

Standing stock, replanting and harvest cycles are the basis of the credit. If the underlying records are reconstructed after the fact, verification stalls and the claim gets discounted or refused.

Labour risk below tier one

Felling crews, contractors and haulage sit several steps away from the buyer. Modern slavery reporting asks you to speak for that layer, and most operations have no structured record of who worked which coupe.

How Haloglide helps

Capabilities tuned for your sector.

Tree to log chain of custody

Plot, tree, stem, log, timber batch and commercial lot each carry their own identity and their own history, so a finished consignment resolves back to the individual stems it came from. The same felling chain is already configured and running for rubberwood.

Plot geolocation captured at the source

Coordinates and boundary files are recorded against the plot when it is registered, by the person standing on it, and travel with every log that leaves it. Deforestation free reporting draws on that record rather than a separate mapping exercise.

Independent land insights on every plot

Satellite and science sources including Copernicus Sentinel and NASA fire detection sit against each plot, covering forest cover change, land use and protected area overlap. Runs are dated and repeatable, so an assessment made last season can be shown exactly as it stood.

Statements a buyer can verify themselves

Due diligence statements for regulators and provenance statements for customers are generated from the same records, in marketing, factual or full product information form, each with a public link and a scannable code.

Carbon ready records, not a second dataset

Plot boundaries, species, harvest and replanting events are captured once and feed the Verra and ProTerra toolkits that ship configured. Verification bodies read the source record instead of a spreadsheet you assembled for them.

Labour and legality captured as work happens

Crew, contractor, permit and haulage declarations are recorded as tasks against the felling and transport events they belong to, so a modern slavery response is a query rather than a survey.

Outcomes

What changes for your team.

Consignment evidence in minutes

The pack a buyer or a customs authority asks for assembles itself from records already captured, instead of taking a fortnight of chasing.

Verification and audit cost falls

Auditors and verification bodies read structured, dated, independently corroborated records, so site time is spent on the exceptions.

Buyers serve themselves

Give a customer a link scoped to their consignment. They check the origin, the land position and the certificates without another email arriving in your inbox.

Proof by numbers

A commodity operating model, standing up in weeks.

The rubber and rubberwood configuration built with the Rubber Authority of Thailand, as it exists today. The same pattern applies to timber.

A day in the cockpit

The consignment leaves with its evidence already attached.

A load arrives at the yard. The logs scan into a timber batch, the batch resolves to the plots and stems behind it, and the land position for each plot is already checked. The export document set is generated the same afternoon, not the following week.

Concession and plantation managers

See every plot, coupe and standing block in one map view, with boundaries, species, harvest history and outstanding tasks against each one.

Compliance and export leads

Assemble the due diligence position for a shipment from records already captured, with the plot coordinates and the satellite check attached to each log in the load.

Sustainability and carbon leads

Harvest, replanting and standing stock data arrive in the shape verification bodies ask for, dated at capture, so a credit claim is not rebuilt from memory.

Market access

Getting timber into the EU.

Scheme toolkits

Carbon and sustainability schemes, already configured.

The same plot and harvest records feed the schemes your buyers and verifiers work to.

The platform behind the forest

What your forestry, compliance and carbon teams actually use.

The same platform, described the way a forestry operation uses it: identify the log, keep the harvest history intact, watch the land, and hand each buyer only the evidence their market requires.

Halo ID

For provenance a buyer can check

A scannable identity for the plot, the stem, the log and the finished consignment.

  • One scan resolves a log back to the plot it grew on
  • Tags survive the yard, the truck and the mill
  • Public verification link for customers and customs
